Core Competitiveness

What we’re actually good at.

No marketing-speak version of this page. Six things we do well, written plainly, with the trade-offs included. If any of these don’t apply to what you’re trying to build, we’re probably not the right partner — and we’ll tell you that on the first call.

01 — Color matching

Shades that match your reference, not ours.

Every project starts with your reference — a swatch, a competitor product, a Pantone code, or a description. Our color team works to match what you actually want, not what's easiest for the line. Pearl, matte, duochrome, and metallic finishes; pressed-pan or liquid formats. We tell you when a target isn't realistic before we start, not after we've shipped.

02 — Small-batch precision

A 6,000-piece run treated like a 60,000-piece run.

Most large manufacturers will take a 6,000-piece order and quietly run it on whatever machine has time. We don't. The same QC process, the same calibration, the same sign-off applies whether you're launching a single SKU or a full range. Indie launches don't get a B-team.

03 — Quality and compliance

ISO 22716 manufacturing. CPNP-ready documentation.

The partner facility operates under ISO 22716 (cosmetics GMP) and ISO 9001 quality management. We can produce the documentation pack you need to register and ship into the EU and UK markets — including CPNP submission support — so you're not figuring out compliance from scratch the week before launch.

04 — Direct communication

One inbox. The same person from sample to ship.

When you email yan@hanshacosmetics.com, you reach the co-founder who personally briefs the factory floor. No account managers. No "we'll get back to you next week." If something on the line needs your input — a shade adjustment, a packaging change, a delivery risk — you hear about it from the person who placed your order, in time to do something about it.

05 — Honest timelines

Lead times we can hit, not lead times we wish we could.

When we quote a timeline, we've already checked the line schedule, raw material availability, and packaging supply. If we can't promise a date, we tell you a range and the reasons it might move. Indie launches live and die by calendar — we won't be the supplier that quietly puts yours at risk.

06 — Vertical focus

Four categories. Done well, not many.

Eyeshadow, lip, blush, highlighter. We've made the deliberate choice not to chase every category — no skincare, no fragrance, no sun care. Sticking to color cosmetics keeps our process tight and our quality predictable. If you need something outside these four, we'll tell you honestly and refer you on.

See if we’re the right fit for what you’re building.

Send Yan a brief on the project. She’ll come back with a real answer — including the parts where we might not be the right choice.
